June 2018 Newsletter

Its that time of year again! Everyone is rolling, the crop is getting in the ground and in many places, coming out of the ground. Have you been out to scout yet? The Sure Growth team has been busy keeping an eye on things in the field. A bit of timely moisture has got the ball rolling for germination and emergence of seeded acres. It is important to keep in mind some early season threats, such as Flea Beetles in Canola, and to begin monitoring your crop right after emergence while it is vulnerable to threats & to make in-crop spray decisions based on crop monitoring & scouting. It is also important to keep an eye on how your plant is responding to the weather and fertility application. Are there any nutrient deficiency signs yet? Is your crop showing some signs of moisture stress? What you find when you scout should directly influence your in-crop decisions.
